Silk versus Satin - The Verdict.

Silk and satin, someone who didn't know better could think that they're one in the same, but they are very very different.

The difference is that satin is a weave of a non-natural fibre, whereas silk is a natural fibre fabric.

So what does that mean for my hair?

When you use silk you're providing your hair with healthy care from a natural fibre which encourages hair growth, whereas when you use satin you could be putting not-so-good fabric which is cheap such as Rayon, Acetate or Polyester.

So when it comes to all things hair-care, our recommendation is to always stick with a 100% silk scrunchie to ensure that you're giving your hair the best thing for it.
